Poor service stay away

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

Just cancelled my blue apron service.

They delivered the first delivery.

Did not deliver the second one and charged me for it. They also charged for the third delivery

When I called and asked them about the missed delivery and the amount charged they refused to provide me with an explanation for the missed delivery. They also refuse to get back to me with an answer. Their food was average.

I was their client because of my busy work schedule. So I wanted to save time. If the company can not even guarantee delivery of a product they accepted money for or take responsibility for their mistakes by providing an answer to a false charge made on my credit card then it’s not worth my time.

I spent a lot of time with this and made me think how much more time I will need to spend every week checking if I have been cheated by blue apron .

Finally poor service and false charges also called cheating. Stay away would be my advice

It’s a pattern

They have done this to others

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
First order they forgot the Spices , I called and let them know and they said they were sorry and would let some one know. Second week for got to send 4 Chicken thighs skinless boneless but sent a small chicken breast. Said they will credit $19 to my account. Third week one ice pack that was melted and the meat already turning colors and the vegetables were warm and sweating in the plastic bags so I just threw the whole thing out. Next week is my last week of meals because i have a $50 credit on my account and Blue Apron cancel my account until they get a credit card number. I told them I use only give cards because I don't want company like this to have my credit card. So Blue Apron has not only stole over $100 from me their service sucks!

Unbelievably poor service!

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
My Friday meal box still hasn’t arrived and it is Sunday night! Since they changed from Fedex to Laser Ship in Michigan the service is terrible! Also, missing ingredients are common now, not just occasionally. And a couple weeks ago they left out the main meat ingredient! It was such a great idea, the whole packaged meal thing. Delicious recipes and unique products and techniques. I am so sad that the growth in this company has wreaked only havoc.

TERRIBLE SERVICE BEWARE!

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
BLUE APRON...I received a $50 gift card as a christmas gift. I was already reluctant on using this service once they "needed" my credit card information. I went ahead and used the gift card to receive a meal sent to my door.. After i finally got the package, they included the wrong materials needed for the meal itself. I went ahead and emailed the Blue Apron support to cancel my account. I had successfully cancelled the account over a week ago. This morning I was alerted that they had charged me $50 for ANOTHER meal which i had never agreed upon. Now i am unable to receive a refund for this. TERRIBLE BUSINESS! SCAM ARTISTS! I will be writing a bad review on every page I can to warn others about these tricksters.

Charged after trying for free

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
I accepted an offer from someone associated with the company to try a free meal. The day after it arrived, I cancelled the recurring account they made me sign up for, in order to try the "Free" meal. It was already too late and I was charged for the next one I didn't want, even though I hadn't even tried the first one yet. I didn't have the opportunity to try the free product and make a judgement before I was charged additional monies for product I had not yet wanted or decided I would purchase on purpose, since it was charged before the sample even arrived or could be prepared.

Hard to Cancel Blue Apron

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

Short and Sweet: Blue Apron was not right for us, we already know how to cook from scratch, have had 95% of the ingrdients they send in our house and have time to go shopping. Our daughter gave a trial to us we tried it and then tried to cancel.

1. The BlueAprion cancel instructions are to send an email to cancellations@***.com. Then they will send you instructions. 2.

The instructions never came. 3. thankfully we had postponed deliveries for as long as we could, then one day the delivery showed up again. 4.

a better search on the internet came us with this URL (why it was not on the FAQ at Blue Apron means they wanted to scam people for more deliveries. https://www.blueapron.com/cancel_subscription

Thank you kind person for including the URL for cancellation. They had me a loop of never ending, 'send email and we send you the instructions', which were to go back to the same page where you started!

Ugh and glad I'm done.

Thank god you posted this, I could not cancel my subscription because no where on the website does it tell you how and I also ended up emailing to no avail (which resulted in a box being paid for and shipped to my old house, I was not given enough notice that they were sending another package to cancel it or change the address, what a scam) they should actively give you an option on a weekly basis. I also tried calling both numbers that they offer on their website and neither was in service. Anyway, I searched through FAQ and it was not till I came here that I was able to actually cancel.

Delivers late - leaved packages on the road, not by our front door.

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
My mother started using blue apron after our father died. At first, the meals came on time and were good. Then boxes began to show up without ingredients. We live at the end of a long, shared driveway, and Blue Apron began leaving the boxes at the end of it, sitting on top of our mailbox (which did our mailbox no good) and they began coming later and later in the evening.... Last night, the box, which was to arrive before eight o'clock, arrived after ten, and ended up sitting out all night. The result was a soggy mess that we immediately threw away out of safety concerns. Mom then cancelled the service. We thought the issue might be supply disruptions because of the hurricanes, but we live in Annapolis, Md, and the shipping info says the packages were shipped from New Jersey. Apparently, out box just sat in Windsor, Md for most of the day.

BEWARE: unable to provide receipts or transaction history. Not Possible, apparently, according to 45 minutes of conversation with 4 different people. cancellation process is a JOKE you have to email a cancellations email address and wait for a response (48 hours later) THEN click a confirmation link. that takes another MONTH to end. The worst part, Blue Apron doesnt even send food in a temperature controlled truck. they come through OnTrac, a HORRID delivery company that often leaves boxes outside or at front door. For their ridiculous pricing they could have some better delivery service. The food is often rotten before it arrives from sitting in a swealtering hot truck

Not so great

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
I got old produce, missing ingredients, and warm 'refrigerated' food. Customer service always refunded, but its still a pain in the butt to have to call them each time. Plus, the servings are small, and they put cilantro or mint in everything! (We hate both)

Sits on a hot fedex truck all day

Blue Apron is NOT delivered in a temperature controlled food delivery truck; It is delivered from a hot fedex truck, which my driver told me can reach 125 degrees on an 80 degree day. That's why the boxes are soggy, and dripping.

Absolutely disgusting ! The box was falling apart due to to heat and humidity, and dripped all over my front porch. It's only June, what's going to happen in July and august? My driver also told me that the Blue Apron boxes sit in a terminal that can reach 100 degrees for hours before being loaded onto the already hot fedex trucks.

HOW IS THIS NOT BEING ADDRESSED BY THE BOARD OF HEALTH? No restaurant would ever get away with handling food in this manor.

OVER RATED BLUE APRON

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
WOW! How bad can it get. Tiny portions and just plain yuck. The box arrived late and warm. The food was covered in goo and did not look good enough to eat. Most use of huge plastic bags, I guess they are trying to make the portions look larger by placing them in big bags. Recipe plan was confusing and more time to prepare than most busy people would consider. Customer service was a joke! High volume had to wait forever BUT my call is very important. If it was important to them then why did I have to wait so so long?? A lot of advertising for a second rate product. Waste of time Waster of money.

Five in a row with missing ingredients. I'm done. They suck.

Guest

I've gotten many satisfactory shipments with only an occasional missing ingredient or substitute ingredient. Overall, I've had good service.

Guest

I've gotten about 5 boxes. Not one problem.
